Nestled along the American River Parkway in Carmichael, CA, Ancil Hoffman Golf Course provides a serene setting to both play and practice golf. Established in 1965, this challenging but fair track is legendary in the Greater Sacramento Area (and NorCal) for its design, playability & sheer beauty.
Ancil Hoffman, the man, has a storied history in Sacramento politics and culture. Golf Course Architect William Francis Bell designed the property and is famous for his work on multiple courses throughout the State of California (including Torrey Pines in La Jolla, CA). Owned by the County of Sacramento, the 18 hole property is adjacent to the Ancil Hoffman Park, Effie Yeaw Nature Center & the aforementioned American River Parkway.
